Tuesday Morning Sketches

Good morning,

It has been some time since I posted here, but I haven't been overly creative this year...I took a break and focused on some other parts of my life that seemed to get pushed to a back corner instead of stamping and the few items that I made, I ended up giving them to the recipient before I could even get a picture. I did manage to get my things organized and put away after my creative room was turned (back) into a bedroom for a roommate and all my things were displaced. I am feeling better about things and slowly but surely starting to feel the creative desire again. I have followed all my favorite blogs this whole time and I am very happy to see that I can contribute to the Tuesday Morning Sketches blog this week. Rather than a sketch it is a challenge to do the Double Diagonal Pocket Card. Directions are found on the Splitcoast site in the resources section if you are interested. I love the versatility this style of card offers and I especially like all the writable area which is perfect for things like maps and directions and information for parties or showers. These make great invitations for just this reason. The tags can be double sided and you have the option to seal the inside or leave it open like a regular card where even more information can be put. Without further ado... here is an invitation for a good friends shower. See how the tags are perfect for specific information??? Love it! The paper and the baby stamp were purchased from Archivers and the green card stock is Bazzil Dots. The ink is Stamping Up and the ribbon was also purchased at Archivers. These were a hit. Enjoy and hope to be back with more fun stuff soon!
